From the Tihany ferry to Balatonszemes by bike
The castle was built by Count Lajos Széchenyi around 1780 in universal late Baroque Rococo style.
Zsigmond Széchényi famous African hunter lived here from 1923 until the middle of 1931. The two-hectare castle park has ancient trees and 30 hectares forest, meadow, pasture and extended viaduct pond systems.
It is a private property now.
