Kőröshegy and its surrounding belongs to the Somogy hills.

It is famous for its 1872 m long viaduct what the longest bridge is in Hungary. The viaduct was inaugurated in 2007. It runs between Zamárdi and Balatonszárszó. The Roman Catholic Church, which was built in 1460 and still exists, is the home of beautiful organ concerts. The baroque Széchenyi-county-house surrounded with a nice park and managed by private person today provides place to the exhibition of the rich hunting collection as well as open air concerts. The settlement is the member of the Association of the South-Transdanubien Wine Tour. The wine yards have a hundred years-past. In the wine competition of Orbán day the experts while in the Wine Week the visitors can taste the treasure of the wine cellars in Kőröshegy. The traditional Grape harvest festival and the carriage driving competition make the time here very amusing. Many programs wait for those also, who loves horse sport, fishing and hunting.
