Kőröshegy and its surrounding belongs to the Somogy hills.
It is famous for its 1872 m long viaduct what the longest bridge is in Hungary. The viaduct was inaugurated in 2007. It runs between Zamárdi and Balatonszárszó. The Roman Catholic Church, which was built in 1460 and still exists, is the home of beautiful organ concerts.
