
Celtic avenue - Kemping street
Petőfi Sándor street continues as Celtic avenue, where you can see the last remained part of the földvár (soil-castle) it is called the Stephanie forte. It emerge between the Celtic avenue and the Mountain-chapel.
If we keep walking on the avenue, we will get to the top of the 40 m high loess wall, at the national flag. There is an excellent view here to the Tihany peninsula opposite as well as both basins of the lake. A spiral staircase leads us down to the park to the end of Kemping street, from where we can walk back to Széchényi Street. On the left hand side, in the park you can see the artwork of Mihály Mészáros, the "Sitting Woman" At the edge of the park we find the Széchenyi statue by Pál Pátzay.
